About This Itinerary

This 10 night liveaboard itinerary encompasses the North and South regions of Raja Ampat, including many of the top sites around Misool and the Dampier Strait. Diving in Raja Ampat is all about diversity - not just diversity of species, but also of dive sites. There are some areas where soft corals and sea fans dominate, others with an amazing range of hard corals, seagrass beds, mangroves, shallow reefs, drop offs, caves, black volcanic sand and pure white sand. Then there are the fish, lots of them, in more shapes and sizes than anywhere else in the world.

What Divers Say

★★★★★

"Although it is a wooden boat, it is well maintained and all details are well done. Proper management, high efficiency, and good overall service. The diving is well organised and there are many night dives."

Hailan L.
★★★★★

"3 close friends, we spent 10 fantastic days on a beautiful, stable and very comfortable boat. The whole programme is well planned and so well executed. The dive guides are enthusiastic, friendly and make one feel safe even in challenging dive conditions like strong currents. The scenery is breathtaking - Raja Ampat is so vast and so empty, a rarity in today is world."

Marek K.
★★★★★

"We spent 13 days on the liveaboard and were wowed at every stage. From beginning to end, each dive briefing, each meal, each and every interaction with the crew and the awesome diving - the level of professionalism was top notch!"

Common Questions

What sort of diving does Raja Ampat offer?
Raja Ampat covers around 50,000 sq km and hundreds of islands, with an astounding diversity of habitats. Brightly coloured soft corals are often found close to the surface, and you can dive habitats endemic to Raja Ampat, including clear water mangroves with corals growing right next to them. The 10 night route gives time to dive both the Dampier Strait and the Misool region.
What marine life will we see?
All levels of the food chain are well represented, from pygmy seahorses to top predators. Wobbegong sharks and epaulette sharks are two of the more unusual creatures found here, alongside manta rays at sites such as Manta Sandy.
What certification do I need?
PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent with a minimum of 50 logged dives. Nitrox certification and experience diving in currents are strongly recommended.
How do I get to Sorong?
We include transfers between Sorong Airport and the vessel on embarkation and disembarkation days. Domestic flights to Sorong are often subject to delays and cancellations, so we strongly recommend arriving in Sorong the day before your itinerary's embarkation date.
Is there a marine park fee?
Yes. The Raja Ampat marine park surcharge is currently 245 USD per person for the 10 night itinerary, plus a fuel surcharge. Surcharges are subject to change.
