Possibly the Red Sea’s ultimate itinerary for shark spotting, the Brothers, Daedalus & Elphinstone route explores Egypt’s most remote and adrenaline-fuelled offshore reefs. Dive the legendary walls of the Brothers Islands and the dramatic drop-offs of Daedalus, where strong currents attract large a variety of pelagic species. The itinerary is complemented by dives at Elphinstone Reef, renowned for its steep walls and regular shark encounters. With frequent sightings of hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks, and occasional thresher sharks, this liveaboard itinerary delivers some of the most exciting diving the Red Sea has to offer.

Common Questions
What certification do I need for this trip? ▼
PADI Open Water or equivalent is the minimum, with logged-dive requirements that vary by route. Northern wreck and reef routes start at 10 logged dives, with a minimum of 20 logged dives required to dive the SS Thistlegorm. Southern offshore routes (Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone, St Johns) require a minimum of 30 logged dives.
What's the difference between northern and southern routes? ▼
Northern routes focus on the S.S. Thistlegorm and Abu Nuhas wrecks near the Straits of Gubal. Southern routes venture to the offshore reefs - Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone - where hammerheads and oceanic whitetips are the main draw.
What should I bring? ▼
A dive computer and a DSMB with reel are mandatory for every dive. We provide tanks, weights and weight belt. You can bring your own BCD, regulator, mask, fins, and exposure suit, or pre-book rentals from our port store in Hurghada. Wetsuit thickness varies by season: 5mm or 7mm full-length from December to March, 5mm in spring and autumn, 3mm or shorty in summer. Camera kit is welcome.
Are park fees and on-board taxes included? ▼
Marine Park fees in the Red Sea are covered by the Government Reef Tax, which is added to your invoice at booking. A 14% Goods and Services Tax applies to relevant on-board payments, plus a fuel surcharge.
