What Divers Say

★★★★★

"All Staffs are very very kind and try to help us as much as possible. Foods are just great! Diving plan is well organized for safe and enjoyable. Feel comfortable all the times."

★★★★★

"Can't say enough great things about the staff and guides on the Phinisi! Everything was amazing! Dives, ship facilities, food, equipment, staff and guides Ping and BJ went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time on board."

★★★★★

"Great dives, great food, great staff. Dives were so much fun. The dive masters were relaxed but still took care of us without babying us. After every dive, the crew would provide you with hot drinks and we were fed five times a day."

Common Questions

What certification do I need?
Advanced Open Water with 30+ logged dives are mandatory. Nitrox certification and experience in strong currents and changeable conditions are strongly recommended.
Do I need a Myanmar visa?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. The Myanmar visa cost is currently 50 USD per person and is not included in your liveaboard fees. We provide guidance on permits and entry requirements when you book.
What is the diving like?
Diving around the Mergui Archipelago and Burma Banks offers strong topography and rich marine life. Due to the exposed nature and depths of many sites, the diving is generally only suitable for divers with Advanced Open Water certification and experience in currents. The best cruising and diving conditions run from December to April when the seas are at their calmest and visibility is best.
How remote is it?
Very remote. The Mergui Archipelago has over 800 islands spread across 36,000 km² of the Andaman Sea, most uninhabited. Limited phone signal once underway. This is genuine frontier diving with few other boats.
