Competition Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all competitions, prize draws, and giveaways run by Master Liveaboards.
The Promoter
Competitions are promoted by Scuba Tours Worldwide Ltd and Master Liveaboards Limited (together referred to as “Master Liveaboards”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) , registered at Dayan House

Eligibility
- Competitions are open to individuals aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
- Unless otherwise stated, competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
- Employees of Master Liveaboards, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
- Where a competition prize includes diving activities, the winner must hold a valid Open Water certification (or equivalent recognised qualification) at the time of travel.
How to Enter
- Entry methods vary by competition and are described in the relevant promotion.
- Entry may be through our website, email newsletter sign-up, or social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.
- Where entry is through a social media platform, entrants must comply with that platform’s terms of use.
- Only one entry per person is permitted unless the specific promotion states otherwise.
- No purchase is necessary to enter any competition unless expressly stated.
- Entries must be received by the closing date stated in the promotion. Late entries will not be accepted.
Winner Selection and Notification
- Winners are selected at random using a verified randomisation tool unless otherwise stated.
- The draw will take place on the date stated in the promotion, or within 14 days of the closing date if no draw date is specified.
- The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw.
- If a winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected.
Prizes
- Prizes are as described in the relevant promotion and are subject to availability.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
- Where a prize includes travel, the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the winner’s preferred travel dates within the stated validity period. Travel is subject to availability and may exclude peak periods or fully booked departures.
- The winner is responsible for any costs not expressly included in the prize description, including but not limited to travel insurance, flights, visa fees, airport transfers, and personal expenses.
Publication of Winners
- By entering, you agree that the Promoter may publish your first name and country of residence in connection with the competition.
- No other personal information will be published without your consent.
- A list of winners is available on request by emailing datahandler@masterliveaboards.com within 60 days of the draw date.
Social Media Platforms
- Competitions run through Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with those platforms.
- Entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Master Liveaboards and not to any third-party platform.
- Any questions regarding a competition should be directed to Master Liveaboards, not to the social media platform.
Liability
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, or incomplete due to technical failures, platform outages, or circumstances beyond its control.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or extend a competition where circumstances beyond its control make this necessary. Any changes will be communicated through the same channels used to promote the competition.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Data Protection
Personal data collected through competitions is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy at masterliveaboards.com/privacy-policy. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Competitions and Prize Draws
We may from time to time run competitions, prize draws, and giveaways through our website, social media platforms (including Facebook and Instagram), or email communications.
Personal Data Collected
When you enter a competition or prize draw, we may collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your telephone number (where required for winner notification)
- Responses to optional questions related to the competition (for example, diving preferences or destination interests)
Where entry is through a third-party platform such as Facebook or Instagram (for example, through a Lead Form), certain information such as your name and email address may be pre-filled by that platform based on your account details. These platforms have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
How We Use Your Data
Personal data collected through competitions is used for the following purposes:
- Administering the competition, including verifying eligibility, selecting winners, and notifying participants
- Publishing the winner’s first name and country of residence, where stated in the competition terms
- Adding you to our marketing mailing list, where you have given clear consent to receive marketing communications
Entry into a competition does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications unless this is clearly stated at the point of entry and you have provided your consent.
Legal Basis
We process personal data collected through competitions on the basis of:
- Consent, which you provide by submitting your entry
- Contractual necessity, where processing is required to administer the competition and deliver the prize
Sharing of Data
Personal data collected through competitions may be shared with:
- The social media platform through which the competition is run (for example, Meta), where entry is submitted via that platform’s tools
- Our email service provider, where you have consented to receive marketing communications
- Prize fulfilment partners, where necessary to deliver the prize
We do not sell personal data collected through competitions.
Retention
Personal data collected solely for the purpose of a competition is retained for up to 12 months after the competition closes and is then deleted.
Where you have also consented to receive marketing communications, your contact details are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Your Rights
Your rights in relation to personal data collected through competitions are the same as those set out in the Your Rights section of this policy. You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time without affecting your entry in any active competition.
