Payment and Cancellation Terms

The following payment and cancellation terms form part of our Booking Conditions that become active when we confirm your booking.

Your payment and cancellation terms will depend upon the rate plan that your booking is made under and how many months before departure your booking is confirmed. Standard Rate’ is our retail rate, with or without discounts, which applies to all destinations except Bikini Atoll. 

These payment and cancellation terms apply to all bookings made from 1 September 2026.

Payment Terms

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, in which case payment details will be confirmed by Master Liveaboards in your booking confirmation, payments will be due within the following time-frames.

*Standard Rate does not apply to Bikini Atoll bookings. See below for Bikini Atoll payment terms. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to unrelated bookings.

Bikini Atoll Bookings

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation Terms

Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements at your request, unless specifically agreed otherwise, in which case payment details will be confirmed by Master Liveaboards in your booking confirmation, you will have to pay the cancellation charges as follows:

15% of the total invoice amount (or deposit amount paid, whichever is greater)
12 to 2 months
30% of the total invoice amount (or deposit amount paid, whichever is greater)
Less than 2 months
100% of the total invoice amount

*For cancellations more than 18 months before departure, we will honour the 5% deposit that we are holding against the booking as a credit that can be used within the following 12 months against a new booking to the same destination – Does not apply to Bikini Atoll bookings.

**Certain arrangements provided (such as domestic flights, hotels tours and transfer, etc.) may not be amended or transferred after they have been confirmed and any alteration could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements by the supplier.

Bikini Atoll Bookings

Period before departure in which you notify us
Cancellation Charge**

15% of the total invoice amount (or deposit amount paid, whichever is greater)*
18 to 2 months
50% of the total invoice amount (or deposit amount paid, whichever is greater)
Less than 2 months
Up to 100% of the total invoice amount

*Cancellation more than 18 months before departure date: 5% of the total invoice value (or deposit paid, whichever is greater) applies, and the 5% deposit will be honoured as a credit valid for 12 months towards a new booking to the same destination. This credit does not apply to Bikini Atoll.

**Certain arrangements provided (such as domestic flights, hotels, tours and transfer, etc.) may not be amended or transferred after they have been confirmed and any alteration could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements by the supplier.

Change Or Transfer Of Booking

With regard to changes of date, persons in the booking, or transfers of the booking to another party…

Standard Rate

Terms will be applied as per section 9 of our Booking Terms & Conditions 

PLEASE NOTE: When an existing booking with us is amended and departure dates postponed, we reserve the right to hold existing deposits paid against the amended booking without making cash refunds. All deposits held will be honoured against the amended booking.
