About this itinerary

Accessible only by liveaboard, the Banda Sea is one of Indonesia’s most remote and rewarding dive regions. Sailing from Ambon through the historic Banda Islands and south to Nil Desperandum and Serua, this itinerary explores isolated volcanic islands set within deep, open ocean. Divers can expect healthy hard coral reefs, dramatic walls and seamounts, excellent visibility, and encounters with schooling fish, reef sharks, and pelagic species drawn to nutrient-rich waters — all combined with the rare sense of true exploration that defines Banda Sea diving.

9.6Exceptional

Although it is a wooden boat, it is well maintained and all details are well done. Proper management, high efficiency and good overall service. The diving is well organised and there are many night dives.

Great trip - cabin was quite loud from the engine and got charged $70 to borrow a mask for a few days after my wife had issues with her mask but otherwise can't fault it.
