Our 7 and 10 nights Central Atolls and Baa itinerary takes you to some of the best dive sites around Baa Atoll as well as some of the central Maldives atolls. The areas and dive sites that are covered depend largely on the itinerary duration but will include Baa, Raa, and North Malé. Other areas that we also visit may include Malé South, North & South Ari, and Lhaviyani Atolls. The undoubted highlight of the trip is the manta aggregation at Hanifaru Bay, though these amazing creatures are often seen on multiple other dives throughout this cruise.

Baa Atoll
A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Baa is known for its rich marine biodiversity. It features stunning coral reefs but is most famous for Hanifaru Bay, where manta rays congregate.
Raa Atoll
Divers can encounter a diverse range of marine life around Raa, including reef sharks, eagle rays, and schools of pelagic fish. Current driven channels offer exciting diving for those with experience in current.
North & South Malé Atolls
Located near the capital city of Male, sites feature vibrant coral formations, abundant marine life, and opportunities for drift diving.
North & South Ari Atolls
These atolls are known for their vibrant coral reefs, abundant marine life, and impressive drop-offs. You can expect to encounter a wide variety of marine species, including colorful reef fish, sharks, manta rays, and even the elusive whale shark.
Lhaviyani Atoll
Celebrated for its pristine coral reefs and excellent diving opportunities, Lhaviyani is known for its healthy populations of marine life, including reef sharks, eagle rays, and various species of turtles.
Your cruise director will schedule up to three dives per day. This means up to 16 dives over 7 nights or up to 25 dives during the 10 night cruise. The diving day is typically scheduled as follows:
- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and Dive 1
- Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing and Dive 2
- Lunch, relaxation period, briefing and Dive 3*
- Snack relaxation period
- Dinner
*If we offer a sunset or night dive, the schedule will be slightly amended.

Adverse weather and sea conditions can affect this route which includes several overnight sailings.

Blue Voyager welcomes 26 divers on board with spacious modern comfort, providing the best Maldivian diving experience.
At 37m, Blue Voyager is a steel-hulled vessel that boasts three roomy double cabins and ten twin cabins. She features an indoor dining area, a bar and sky lounge, as well as a jacuzzi. A shaded outdoor lounge area can be found on the sun deck, plus viewing decks located at the front of both the upper and sun decks, an open air deck on the sun deck plus an ocean deck at the stern of the boat on the main deck, all providing comfortable seating and loungers.

Master Liveaboards offers a range of services to make your stay on board even more enjoyable. Equipment rental, Nitrox and courses can be pre-booked and pre-paid when booking your liveaboard. Rebreather diver guests, please send us your gas and equipment requests as early as possible.
