The 10-night Ultimate Red Sea liveaboard itinerary is perfect divers who want to experience as much as possible in one trip. The itinerary includes a day each at the Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone, as well as other notable locations such as Safaga, Abu Nuhas, Ras Mohammed, and the Strait of Tiran. Each day offers something different, but equally as exciting. What does the Ultimate Red Sea itinerary cover? ▼
The route explores reefs and wrecks around Abu Nuhas, Ras Mohamed and the Strait of Tiran, including the SS Thistlegorm, plus Safaga and the Salem Express. We allocate a day each at the Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone, where you can encounter shark species such as oceanic whitetip or hammerheads.
Where do we embark and disembark? ▼
Embarkation is normally at Hurghada (occasionally Port Ghalib). The vessel remains docked overnight for the first night, with check, practice zodiac and night dives near the embarkation port the following day. The last night on board with breakfast before disembarkation on Day 11 is included.
What certification do I need? ▼
PADI Open Water or equivalent with a minimum of 30 logged dives.
How many dives can I expect? ▼
Up to four dives per day are scheduled (3 day dives plus a sunset or night dive where possible). You can expect up to 28 dives in total over the 10 nights. Night dives are not allowed in the marine parks.
Are park fees included? ▼
No. The Government Reef Tax is currently 170 USD per person for the 10 night itinerary, added to your invoice at booking. A 14% Goods and Services Tax applies to on-board extras, plus a fuel surcharge.
