Overview

Abundant marine life

Pristine reefs

Macro critters

Tropical beaches
Alor is well known for its black, volcanic sand muck diving and macro biodiversity, while the Pantar Strait boasts healthy, colourful coral reefs, pinnacles and walls with sharks, turtles and rays as well as the possibility of a chance encounter with sunfish (aka mola mola) or even spotting orcas (killer whales). Maumere located on the north coast of Flores is an area that is famous for its diversity and is best known for its muck dives, walls and drop-offs. Maumere once held the title of most diverse spot on earth - a title currently held by Raja Ampat. It's diversity has also made Maumere a popular area of study for marine scientists over the years.

The itinerary outlined above is an example only and may be subject to change depending on local regulations, guests’ experience, flight schedules*, weather and logistics and is at the Captain’s discretion. Adverse weather and sea conditions can affect the Alor Archipelago itinerary and play a part in determining which dive sites are included on each trip.
*Please be advised that domestic flights in Indonesia are often subject to delays, schedule changes and cancellations which can result in missed connections and / or late embarkation. We strongly recommend that you make arrangements to arrive at the embarkation location the day before your itinerary’s start date.
