PADI online learning
It can be a conundrum. You have booked your scuba diving liveaboard and at the same time you want to improve your diving. But you don’t want to spend days onboard studying when you could be kicking back and enjoying the view. Online learning is the solution.
Master Liveaboards offers a variety of PADI scuba diving courses across most of the fleet and SSI courses on some vessels. In order to make the best of your vacation we provide access, via PADI or SSI, to online learning so that you can get your studying out of the way before you even join our vessels.
Our 4-step hassle free booking process allows you to pre-book your course and then complete your studies at your own pace. This means you can carry out your training dives on board without pressure and without study getting in the way of your diving holiday.
- Add your chosen course via your guest form in your booking, or by contacting the person looking after your booking directly
- Click on the course relevant to the vessel you are joining
- Enter your details to register directly with PADI and pay for the online learning segment of your course
- Complete your studies before joining the boat

There are obviously two parts to your chosen course, online learning and onboard practical. The fee for online learning is paid directly to PADI, while the fee for the practical learning onboard (quoted below) is payable to Master Liveaboards.

Maldives & Red Sea Vessels - SSI Courses only
The process for SSI courses requires students to create a personal profile with SSI before registering with the dive centre for their chosen course(s) and dates on which they will complete their training. After this has been done, and the course paid for, students will have access to digital training materials to study at their leisure before their holiday.
