Diving around Alor and Indonesia's Southern Forgotten Islands offers divers world class muck diving, pristine reefs, steep walls and a huge variety of sponges. On top of this, there are incredibly diverse and dense, colourful soft corals in addition to which occasional special encounters in the cooler water may include mola mola and thresher sharks, although there are no guarantees.
