Thailand liveaboard highlights

Liveaboard diving in Thailand is centred primarily around the Similan Islands, a chain of 9 small islands with white sandy beaches, located off the west coast of Peninsula Thailand. Surrounded by the rich waters of the Andaman Sea, diving in the Similans is without a doubt some of the best that Southeast Asia has to offer. Beautiful reefs, sleepy leopard sharks, majestic mantas and frequent whaleshark encounters are just a few of the highlights. Macro creatures include seahorses, cuttlefish, shrimps, nudibranchs and pipefish. With year-round tropical warm water, exceptional underwater visibility, diverse underwater seascapes, and a wide variety of marine life, Thailand provides ideal conditions for divers of all experience levels.

Thailand borders 2 seas: the Andaman Sea on the west side and the Gulf of Thailand on the east coast. While both seas offer fantastic diving, the Similan and Surin Islands, Phi Phi Islands and Richelieu Rock in the Andaman Sea are the most famous and diverse.

Richelieu Rock is a signature dive of the Similan & Surin Islands itineraries. Brimming with a vast array of colourful marine life, it’s a dive you can do over and over again without getting bored.

South of Phuket, dive into the beautiful seascapes of Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, Koh Haa, Koh Phi Phi, Shark Point, Anemone Reef and the King Cruiser wreck. Across the region, you will find gorgeous caverns and swim-throughs, turtles, reef sharks, giant moray eels, impressive schools of snappers and, for the lucky ones, a whale shark, manta rays or something completely out of the ordinary. No matter which itinerary you choose, a world-class diving experience awaits you in Thailand.
