One of the most diverse itineraries in the Maldives, our Northern Atolls itinerary gives you 10 nights on board and some of the most diverse diving in the region. You cruise and dive through the atolls of Raa, Baa, Lhaviyani, Noonu, Shaviyani, Haa Dhaalu and Haa Alifu. With gentle coral gardens, current driven passes, standalone pinnacles, and some pristine, barely dived sites there is something for everyone here. Oh, and did we mention the manta aggregation in Hanifaru Bay on Baa Atoll?

Raa Atoll
Known for its diverse marine life, with colourful coral reefs and a variety of reef fish. You can encounter species like angelfish, butterflyfish, and the occasional reef shark.
Baa Atoll
Baa Atoll is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, known for its remarkable biodiversity and unique marine life conservation efforts. Hanifaru Bay is famous for its seasonal aggregations of manta rays, though they can be seen in smaller numbers throughout the atoll.
Lhaviyani Atoll
Best known for its numerous narrow channels and the exhilarating Kuredu Express, Lhaviyani is also one of the few locations in the Maldives where you can do a wreck dive.
Noonu Atoll
Known for its strong currents, drift diving is the norm at Noonu. Enjoy this exhilarating experience as you glide past vibrant coral formations and encounter pelagic species.
Shaviyani Atoll
With a range of dive sites, including colourful coral reefs, thilas, and channels. Shiviyani attracts a diverse array of marine life, from small critters to larger pelagic species.
Haa Dhaalu Atoll and Haa Alifu Atoll
These atolls in the northern region of the Maldives are less visited and relatively undeveloped for tourism. This means that divers can explore pristine and less crowded dive sites.
Your cruise director will schedule up to three dives per day. This means up to 25 dives during the cruise. The diving day is typically scheduled as follows:
- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and Dive 1
- Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing and Dive 2
- Lunch, relaxation period, briefing and Dive 3*
- Snack relaxation period
- Dinner
*If we offer a sunset or night dive, the schedule will be slightly amended.
*The itinerary above is an example only and is subject to change at the time of sailing depending on local regulations and restrictions, guests’ experience, weather conditions and logistics and is at the Captain’s discretion. Adverse weather and sea conditions can affect this route which includes several overnight sailings.

Blue Voyager welcomes 26 divers on board with spacious modern comfort, providing the best Maldivian diving experience.
At 37m, Blue Voyager is a steel-hulled vessel that boasts three roomy double cabins and ten twin cabins. She features an indoor dining area, a bar and sky lounge, as well as a jacuzzi. A shaded outdoor lounge area can be found on the sun deck, plus viewing decks located at the front of both the upper and sun decks, an open air deck on the sun deck plus an ocean deck at the stern of the boat on the main deck, all providing comfortable seating and loungers.
Extras
Master Liveaboards offers a range of services to make your stay on board even more enjoyable. Equipment rental, Nitrox and courses can be pre-booked and pre-paid when booking your liveaboard. Rebreather diver guests, please send us your gas and equipment requests as early as possible.
