PLEASE NOTE: The inclusion of some of the sites listed below is dependent on itinerary duration, season and other factors that may be beyond our control.

Commence the week with a check dive, then set course northward for an afternoon and night dive. Spend four exhilarating days cruising the northern Red Sea, with daily opportunities for three day dives and a night dive.

The specific dive sites and itinerary may vary depending on conditions, but anticipate visits to multiple wrecks, including the renowned Thistlegorm* and Salem Express. Plus, relish fantastic reef dives in Ras Mohamed Marine Park, Panorama Reef, Abu Kefan near Safagara, Sha’ab El Erg (famous for dolphin encounters), and the enchanting Island of Gobal.

Conclude your journey with two relaxed morning dives near Hurghada, allowing for an early afternoon return. Capitalize on an onshore evening for souvenir shopping and to bask in Egypt’s renowned hospitality before your departure the following day.

Your cruise director will schedule up to four dives per day; 3 day dives and, where possible, either a sunset or night dive. You can expect up to 21 dives in total, with diving days typically scheduled as follows:

  • Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and Dive 1
  • Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing and Dive 2
  • Lunch, relaxation period, briefing and Dive 3
  • Snack relaxation period, briefing and Dive 4, where possible
  • Dinner
*You must have completed 20 dives in order to dive Thistlegorm.

Blue Melody underwent a complete interior re-fit in 2008, followed by an update in early 2016.

This spacious liveaboard boasts a large dining area, separate sky lounge with state of the art entertainment system and double and twin cabins, all benefiting from en suite facilities, air conditioning and personal entertainment systems.
