PLEASE NOTE: The inclusion of some of the sites listed below is dependent on itinerary duration, season and other factors that may be beyond our control.
Commence your week with a check dive, then venture north for an exciting wreck exploration at Abu Nuhas, followed by a captivating night dive. Over the next two days, immerse yourself in the northern Red Sea’s rich wrecks, with the opportunity for three day dives and a night dive each day. Expect visits to renowned wrecks like Thistlegorm, Ghiannis D, Carnatic, Rosalie Moller, and more, although the specific itinerary will vary depending on conditions.
Discover the remarkable Salem Express and Al Kafain, two large ferry wrecks near Sha’ab Sheer in Safaga. Conclude your adventure with morning wreck dives at El Minya (a minesweeper) and Mohamed Hassabella (a fishing trawler) near Hurghada’s port, allowing for an early afternoon return. Enjoy an onshore evening for souvenirs and Egypt’s famed hospitality before your departure the next day.
Your cruise director will schedule up to four dives per day; 3 day dives and, where possible, either a sunset or night dive. You can expect up to 16 dives in total, with diving days typically scheduled as follows:
- Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and Dive 1
- Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing and Dive 2
- Lunch, relaxation period, briefing and Dive 3
- Snack relaxation period, briefing and Dive 4, where possible*
- Dinner
*Night dives are not allowed in the marine parks
*The itinerary above is an example only and is subject to change at the time of sailing depending on local regulations and restrictions, guests’ experience, weather conditions and logistics and is at the Captain’s discretion. Adverse weather and sea conditions can affect this route which includes several overnight sailings.

Blue Melody underwent a complete interior re-fit in 2008, followed by an update in early 2016.
This spacious liveaboard boasts a large dining area, separate sky lounge with state of the art entertainment system and double and twin cabins, all benefiting from en suite facilities, air conditioning and personal entertainment systems. TV’s in the communal areas are also equipped with a hard drive containing movies and TV series.
